Cooking Directions:
This is a fantastic and easy to make spinach dip recipe, perfect for when you need a last minute party dip. To begin this recipe, you will first need to soften the Philadelphia cream cheese in your microwave, heat settings will vary depending on what type of machine you have. Careful not to completely melt the cheese, you just want it lightly softened. Next drain and thaw out your frozen spinach, and add it to a mixing bowl, along with the cream cheese. Take out a mixing spoon, and stir together very well, you want a consistent and even spinach cream mixture. Once done add in the mayonnaise, green onions, parsley flakes, parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and seasoned salt. Again take your mixing spoon and really mix these ingredients together the best that you can, as you do not want any pockets of seasonings present. Once done mixing, set the spinach dip off to the side, and take out a large cooking skillet. Place your stove burner on medium high, and add in your bacon. You will want to fry your bacon until it is a crisp golden brown. Once it's crisp, take it out and set it on a plate with paper towel to cool down. Once the bacon cools, crumble it into little bits and add it to the spinach dip, stirring the bacon bits in well. Now place your spinach dip in the microwave in a microwave proof bowl, and heat on medium high until the spinach dip is hot all the way through. Serve warm with fresh carrot and celery sticks, and Ritz Crackers.
